"Where are you going?...I do know that where you go, is where I want to be...well, let's go." -Dave Matthews

destination: 1) the purpose for which something is destined
                   2) the act of appointing, setting aside for a purpose, or predetermining
                   3) a place to which one is journeying or to which a thing is sent
                   4) a place worthy of travel or an extended visit

Today, I thought about the last time I went somewhere on vacation; the last time I was on holiday was when I was 16. That summer, my parents and my sister and I spent a good amount of time in AZ. Our destination was a  hotel resort, complete with it's own water attractions, restaurants, shopping, and gorgeous desert life. We visited some family friends of ours while in town and spent the afternoon eating, laughing, and talking. (I remember one of the daughter's whipping out her DDR. )  =)

But the thing I remember most about our vacation? Having TIME!!!!!! Time to sleep. Play. Eat. Drive. Eat again. Play more. Cat nap. Swim. Shop. BE. With family. With friends. Alone. True rest because the focus of  our destination was to create the environment to BE! And isn't that the Lord's way? As He would have it, places we have been serve to remind us of His faithfulness. Places we are allow us to see Him for who He is. And places we have yet to go encourage us on in the glorious fact of our hope, that He will keep His promise. He "who was, and is, and yet to come" is in a phrase, the "I AM".

With Him having said that, I am therefore free to BE! And where am I free to be? Anywhere! Anywhere at all!

s: "Well, here am I! Send me! Uh, so, where are we going? Heaven? "
G: "Yes, girl. Eventually."

s: "Uh, the Heart of You?"
G: "Yes! Haha! You are already there!"

s: "Can I go to India?!"
G: "Yes!"
s: "REALLY?!"
G: "Haha! Sure!"
s: "OK!"
G: "Great! And here's My plan: we leave in September for Coimbatore...that's our destination. I'll be there when you arrive."
